Presentation of the workshop
It is a small artisanal workshop organized in the form of limited liability company of a manpower to date of 5 people, 4 dressmakers and Chef of the project (Model maker - designer) Mrs. Delphine Pierrette.
The Workshop is located in rural area at 5 km of Tahanaoût, a small town to 25 km of Marrakech in the direction of Tizin' Test.
The dressmakers are women and young girls resulting from the “douars” surrounding the workshop, it were not provided education for, after one period of 9 months remunerated formation with 1 year, they integrate the team of the personnel in the shape of licensed dressmaker. They profit thus from a formation, a real qualification and especially from regular incomes in this sector where the women work mainly with the gathering of fruits and olives; thus in a very specific way.
Being always in search of new materials, Marrakech is the ideal city because it is the crossroads where many cultures meet to sell their craft industry, it is a source of inspiration and perpetual raw material. One as well meets there the drââs and incised leathers of Sahraouis, that res-fixing Masaï nape of the neck or of the bogolan of Mali, reasons inspired by Arabo-Andalusian architecture.
Their production is a line of products of decoration, textiles and household linen, (tablecloths, table runners, linen of bed), small furniture worked way of papering and diverted and additional objects of voyage.
The raw materials, the reasons and the colors which feed the creation of the collection are inspired by the traditions and reflects the cultural identities of various tribes which constitute Morocco.
Parallel to its line of products, Ysengrin carries out and sets up the decoration of private residences and houses of host, a work to measure with the listening of the personality of the place and the tastes and requirements of the owner towards his customers.
